I bought the Packtalk when I moved to the K1600. Loads of features, great range, can connect to loads of things - but not to BMW Bluetooth on a regular basis which is frustrating. So some of the features don't work due to this and others because they have tried to pack too much into the unit and the instructions are pretty poor. Keep us updated how your new units perform, I might consider a new purchase.

This is the previous one which was useless above 80 k/h (48 mph) viewtopic.php?f=8&t=449&p=182005&hilit=climder#p182005

We have an overnight club ride coming up in a months time so it'll be a good time for an on road test with listening to music and interaction with the GPS plus comments the pillion with maybe a phone call or two from the daughter.

That’s a good price compared to the Senna. Look forward to an update. Like Cammy I working towards the right solution on my new K1600 and multiple Bluetooth modules for Starcom digital set up.

Our new units are good compared to the old ones.

Sound quality between the two of us at 100-110 kph /62-68 mph is much better.

Minor issue with GPS instructions - the first few words are missed when the Blue Tooth was activated between the GPS and Headset - had that on the old set as well. A glance at the map is all I need anyway.

I've only tried listening to the music via the phone at town speed limits.

Have only tested phone calls at home.

Down side is the actual helmet mount - identical to the generic in appearance but doesn't grip as tight so had to use double sided sticky tape

This set included a charger where the old set could only be charged by USB

It's good enough for us.
